Sam is a level 2 Registered Building Control Inspector and heads up the C&E operation, he also signs off on our level 1 inspectors’ work. He has masters degree in Building Surveying and undergraduate degree in architectural technology. He has a varied career working for companies such as architects and Total Building Control. He worked in his younger years as clerk of works on the prestigious Welsh assembly building. Sam is also a registered expert witness with the RICS. Sam has a history of providing high quality CDM principal designer and BSR advice to architects, clients and contractors.
James Dean MSc BSc (Hons) FCIAT C.Build E FCABE AssocRICS MFPWS
James is a level 1 Registered Building Control Inspector and is a chartered fellow of both the CABE and CIAT. James has extensive knowledge in the party wall Act and has had a varied career working in management, surveying, building control and architectural fields. James has extensive experience plan checking and providing design solutions advice to clients.
Mark Wiltshire BSc (Hons) MCIAT BSc (Hons) PgDip
Mark is a level 1 Registered Building Control Inspector he has worked alongside different approved inspector building control providers and is an expert in Listed and heritage properties. Mark has a post graduate qualification from Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities where he studied architectural conservation. Mark has a wonderful understanding of sensitively restoring old buildings to meet modern performance standards and an excellent track record of commercial CDM principal designer compliance.
Mat Wildman MIStructE CEng
Mat is a chartered structural engineer and has experience working on small domestic and large commercial projects throughout the South West and Wales. Mat is currently registered with Approved Inspectors to provide checking advice on Part A compliant structural designs. Mat regularly works with architects at an early stage to help direct structural compliance.
